1) how did they manage to make my house such a shit hole?
2) why, after making my house a shit hole did my brothers not think it was not a good idea to clean it

I am home, i'm also very sad and don't really know what to do now... i've got to find a job but i don't feel that i'm qualified for anything/capable of doing anything. god i can't describe how this feels. i'm so crazy at the moment. i've no idea what to do now. where do i go? i've waited three years to find what i want to do and now saying 'what shall i do?' is a material decision i need to make and can't. No action seems natural.

what does my degree even mean? intelligence? no or not good enough. All of these questions are unansewerable and nothing has helped so far, careers advisor or not. I've been back for a matter of hours and i'm stuck already. i'm sorry if this is waffle, i just don't know what to do, not even at the moment. i've nearly unpacked my stuff

What should i do for my Violence essay? i need some help as i am going insane, have little interest in this badly taught subject and have too little time to do it in:( help?

1. Critically evaluate how different forms of film regulation and censorship have impacted upon ONE film released in Britain since 1970.

2. Discuss the extent to which attempts to define and understand film violence have enabled us to develop a better appreciation of the term.

3. Examine the range of overlapping pleasures, anxieties, meanings and rituals associated with the consumption of film violence.

4. To what extent has the ‘effects debate’ helped or hindered attempts to develop an understanding of the consumption and influence of film violence?

5. To what extent have changes at the BBFC since 1998 resulted in a ‘relaxation’ in the regulation of film violence within contemporary Britain.

6. Drawing upon ideas and readings examined on the module advance an argument why a film of your choice should be screened on the module.

Am posting from my traveling post up high in hull after going to see Curse of the Golden flower.

It was magnificant and opulant, death and sadness. The Gold(!) was black and red, thousands of people, no walls- just hanging decorations, crazy colours, and fucking ornate dresses. It has made me feel utterly miserable, just like Fear and trembling made me feel. That was one persons resignation, this was a thousands peoples defeat. I think that everything will come to nothing, and that everything is waste.

And it's rude of me to feel like this in public.

Thank-you university for cancelling the module i was looking forward to most, and allowing me to choose from the sparse offerings you left me with. Also thanks for telling me before i walk all he way in in the snow.

I'm back in winchester, sigh. but i did get a first (78!) on the regina presentation i was worrying about!

Had my first lecture on fantasy, sexuality and desire today, looks like it couldb egood but i think i got the peodophilia in to early:)

I also have a big knot in my ball of wool, and i stole a 70's diet book from wetherspoons today too- it mostly has recipes made of eggs in:)
